Fernando e Ana viajam pelas amplas paisagens da Chapada dos Veadeiros, em Goiás. Esta é uma antiga história de amor, e a viagem, uma tentativa de revivê-la. Enquanto Fernando decide se ficará com a fazenda de seu falecido pai, será preciso, entretanto, muito mais que uma velha atração para os dois se manterem juntos.
Ana e Fernando terão que reabrir antigas feridas, decidirem entre ficar ou partir e encarar um lugar ao mesmo tempo bonito e hostil. “Alaska” é tanto uma história de amor entre os dois personagens, como a história de amor entre eles e um lugar.
Por isso, é também um quase-documentário sobre a Chapada dos Veadeiros, onde seus personagens reais acabam tomando parte na história de Fernando e Ana. Lançamento previsto para 2018.
Fernando and Ana travel through the Chapada dos Veadeiros region, a mountainous area of wide landscapes in central Brazil. This is an old love story and the trip, an attempt to renew it. While Fernando decides if he will keep his deceased father’s farm, the two of them will need much more than an everlasting attraction to stay together.
They will need to reopen old wounds, decide what they want in life and face a place at once beautiful and hostile. “Way Beyond the End of the World” is, at the same time, a love story and a story about the relationship of these characters with a place.
As such, it is also nearly a documentary on Chapada dos Veadeiros, with its real characters finding their way into Ana’s and Fernando’s story. To be released in 2018.
