A antropóloga Lux Vidal tem uma longa história de trabalho com o povo indígena Xikrin do Cateté, que inclui a constituição do Acervo Lux Vidal, hoje abrigado no Museu de Arqueologia e Etnologia e no Laboratório de Imagem e Som em Antropologia da USP. Em 2019, um grupo de lideranças Xikrin procurou Lux para iniciarem um processo de resgate de sua memória. Este filme é resultado desse processo de reencontro do povo Xikrin com sua história e cultura guardadas nesse acervo e no trabalho de Lux Vidal.
Anthropologist Lux Vidal has a long history of working with the Xikrin do Cateté indigenous people, which includes the creation of the Lux Vidal Collection, now housed in the Museum of Archeology and Ethnology and in the Laboratory of Image and Sound in Anthropology at the Unibversity of São Paulo. In 2019, a group of Xikrin leaders sought out Lux to begin a process for rescuing her memory. This film is the result of that process of reuniting the Xikrin people with their history and culture kept in this collection and in the work of Lux Vidal.
